Overview
Prada App redefines the relationship between the Maison and its clients, transforming a traditional brand touchpoint into a personalised digital ecosystem. The experience combines editorial storytelling, exclusive services and commerce within a single platform, creating a seamless journey that reflects Prada's contemporary vision while strengthening engagement, retention and long-term customer relationships.
Originally explored as a proof of concept, the project evolved into the design and delivery of a production-ready product in close collaboration with Prada's internal teams and AKQA.

Challenge
Transform an ambitious product vision into a scalable, production-ready application while preserving the creative ambition of the original concept.
The project required balancing luxury storytelling with technical feasibility, defining a flexible content ecosystem, supporting multiple business models and building an experience capable of scaling across dozens of international markets. At the same time, the application needed to become the foundation of Prada's future digital ecosystem through a shared content architecture.

The project required balancing luxury storytelling with technical feasibility, defining a flexible content ecosystem, supporting multiple business models and building an experience capable of scaling across dozens of international markets. At the same time, the application needed to become the foundation of Prada's future digital ecosystem through a shared content architecture.
Solution
As Senior Product Designer, I led the visual direction and product design of the application, defining a refined mobile identity built around lightweight typography, editorial layouts and a bespoke motion language.
Working closely with engineers, product stakeholders and the Contentful team, I contributed to designing the information architecture, interaction patterns and content model simultaneously with the CMS implementation. This collaborative approach ensured every component was scalable, technically feasible and reusable across future touchpoints.
The experience merges commerce, editorial content and exclusive client services into a cohesive design system, supported by a modular CMS architecture that connects the mobile application with Prada's broader digital ecosystem. Alongside the interface, I defined a dedicated motion system to reinforce the brand's identity through meaningful transitions, micro-interactions and navigation behaviours.

Designed for international scale, the product supports complex localisation requirements across 47 markets, including right-to-left interfaces and regional languages such as Arabic, Chinese and Korean. Beyond designing the experience, I drove the project from concept refinement to production, coordinating design quality across cross-functional teams and ensuring consistency throughout every stage of the global rollout.
The result is a scalable product platform that not only supports today's business objectives but also provides the foundation for Prada's future digital experiences.
